Laura Johnston Khol was an idealistic young woman who wanted to care for others. That desire to care led to her to become a member of a church known as The People's Temple. The charismatic leader of that church, Jim Jones, led his people to create a community in the jungles of Guyana called Jonestown, the scene of the most horrific mass murder. Laura shares the horrors of that experience.
